G.A.S. is a covers duo that has been established since 1990. They play their music around the lower half of the South Island of New zealand. Their music ranges from pop, rock, country, reggae and blues covering most musical styles.G.A.S. have a state of the art sound system that can have subs added for outside venues. Selwyn started playing music at the age of six, starting his first band at the age of nine.Playing the guitar and singing have always been a passion to him.Selwyn has been involved with several Dunedin cover bands over the years giving him vast experence in enteraining.
Ginny has always loved singing. As a child was brought up on Kapa Haka (Maori culture music) and has been involved in groups. Even though G.A.S. is her first professinal venture she is commented regulary on her sweet but powerful voice. Ginny has also been known to be "people friendly"
